Feed me Seymour!

A great line from a funny movie "Little Shop of Horrors"  the movie version was great ...and the recurring theme of an alien plant gone crazy with hunger for human blood....well as unappetizing as that sounds  ...we all cry out both as babies for food that helps us grow into adults, and spiritually as adults to be fed to be fed what Jesus stated in John 4:32 as  “I have food to eat you know nothing about.”  That sustenance that comes from God(As Jesus said in verse 34) "The food that keeps me going is that I do the will of the One who sent me, finishing the work he started."   OK now Food eternal  that is quite a jump from milk that grows us physically...and in the Gospel of John we read about His growth into what His Father and ours.     My wife Cat and I were sharing from John 21  and we would like to share this with you all...and expound on it in future posts...
John 21:15
When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?”
“Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.”
What are you doing to help someone else? Are you making a difference in someones life? Because that is how you show your love for God. The cycle of love God pours into your life is not complete until it is pouring out if you to meet other peoples needs.
If love has no action to back it up, then it becomes empty words with no power. God proved His love for us by giving His only Son to die for our sins. And we can prove our love for God by letting Him use us to help other people (His sheep). Don't wait until you feel like being a blessing; rather, start doing it on purpose, and you will realize that it will add joy to your life.
Have a blessed day and Rock and Roll!
Jesus is the Rock and we Roll!
